Education & Background

Jessica Stilla is a licensed mental health counselor and board-certified art therapist. She partners with Physicians Ketamine Institute of Destin to provide mental health assessments and counseling for patients exploring options to manage mental health and chronic pain.

Jessica received her Masters of Arts degree in Counseling Art Therapy from Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio in 2006. She remained in the Greater Cleveland area to gain clinical experience and licensure before returning to Okaloosa County in 2009.

Clinical Experience

Since returning to Florida she has worked with the military population, students in Okaloosa County Schools and adults with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders in community and residential settings. She served as Clinical Director at a residential treatment center for adults with addiction. This provided her with an opportunity to work with medical and mental health professionals to provide a holistic treatment approach and intensive work in group, individual and family counseling.

Professional Focus

Her professional focus has been working with people who have experienced trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, depression/mood disorders, personality disorders, adjustment disorders and interpersonal challenges. She values alternative approaches to promote healing and wellness and has completed additional training on ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.

Jessica opened Destin Counseling and Consulting LLC where she currently provides counseling and art therapy services in private practice. She partners with Physicians Ketamine Institute to provide mental health care to patients looking for alternative and holistic therapies.
